In addition to its work with the Baltimore DataMind, CRC offers clients a range of mapping services to provide a better understanding of the data we gather, not to mention save you from sifting through long, confusing tables of data. Maps are a great way to quickly visualize complex data across a geographic area. At CRC we’re able to offer customized static and Web-based interactive maps to suit our clients’ needs. These products may be shared with a select few or with larger audiences. We can also build out mapping applications for Web pages.
The Baltimore DataMind is an interactive mapping tool developed by CRC that allows users to find an area in Baltimore City by address, neighborhood, and zip code and visualize socioeconomic, demographic, crime, education and health data from a variety of sources.
CRC created this map of the East Baltimore neighborhood to help the Casey Foundation visualize and understand the demographics of the project area. This map displays income distribution at the census tract level as well as other variables such as households with children under 18, and the number of owner-occupied housing units.
This interactive map, created for the Family League of Baltimore City, shows all current Community Schools, whether they are slated for construction, and whether they have an in- school health clinic. Users can view the schools as an overlay with relevant community indicators, such as teen pregnancy and children exposed to lead.
